Which I hadn’t heard before. But it reminded me of this one:

Glad you liked that, Tom. It came from Information Clearing House - a site I find informative if depressing and which has some very good quotes of this nature.

I also liked the addendum one of my commentators made - "Politics is the gentle art of getting votes from the poor and campaign funds from the rich, by promising to protect each from the other AND GIVING NO CHANGE."
